  • Hauppauge WinTV HVR-950 USB stick

Just received this new toy and was really impressed with the picture quality this little stick has.. The tuner can receive analog, as well as the new atsc (digital) programming. Nice thing about the digital feed is that its a crystal clear picture.

On the analog channels I think you just download a winamp tv plug in. Havent really messed with that much.

where are the signals coming from. Do you just snag them out of the air. Or do you get them from your cable/satellite box and them port them to your carputer? Or are you getting them from a streaming site?

When you open winamp go to preferences (Ctrl+P) lift column choose input and then choose winamp TV then click configure. go to the scan tab and then mext to the quick scan there is a dropdown you can choose between cable or antanna.
