Did you extract the Zip file to the plugins folder it should have a folder and a .dll file in it.

oh i solved it.. well the plugin was not compitable with 3.5 ... if it is you just have to unzip it in the plugins folder of centrfuse and then, set a button for it inside CF!

        You will find all compatible Centrafuse 3.5 plugins in Centrafuse itself;
Just go to the market button and brows all the plugins, choose the one you want and it will download and install itself and make a button automatically.
just go to centrafuse.com and make a account.

Then inside of Centrafuse go to settings and setup your market plugin with your login credentials.

Not all 3.5 compatible plugins are available on the market. CFFuelprices for one isn't

              Interesting!

I did not know that, is there any way you can have your plugins put on the market?
I believe there going to integrate a purchasing system for the developers of the plugins, if the developer wants to charge people for there work.

That's correct. The plan (always subject to change) is to get support for paid apps implemented in the next update (3.7). Currently, if the developer has the necessary resources, they can provide thier application through the market and handle licensing via their own website. I'm sure there will be plenty of tweaks necessary to get the system up and running, but it is coming, and not too far off, either. Of course, there will always be those that prefer to "roll their own" so to speak, so you'll also want to keep an eye open in the forums.

                Cheers!

its not even necessarily that i want a charge. App mart is easy for me to manage and with my CFAppMartConnect plugin you can basically download and install plugins the same way the market does now. I actually attempted the CF Market out and didn't like the way it felt like my plugins were being moderated. I was asked to change the name of my plugins because of the CF prefix cause its not the image they want to portray. On top of that the approval process was several days long and quite honestly i dont know why they need to approve an application which enhances their paid-for product.

I just want to clarify a couple of points:

                    1. Apps submitted to the market are only tested to make sure they install and uninstall properly and have the nexcessary supporting graphics.
                    2. The naming convention (No "CF" prefix) is just to provide a little market distinction from the many RR apps that use "RR" as a prefix.
                    3. As with all new processes, there was a learning curve as Centrafuse worked out how to ensure that what went into the market would work, and how to handle developer notifications.

And so newcomers understand my relationship to Centrafuse (and what my biases might be), let me explain.

                    1. I am a paid consultant for Centrafuse.
                    2. I wrote the market app used in CF3.5 and beyond.
                    3. I am the market administrator and handle the approval/rejection process ( I don't make the rules though, CF does that)

So Sonic, how would you describe your relationship to the Mp3Car appmart?

My reasons are similar to Sonicxtacy02,

I'm not looking to charge for my plugins at present so that is not an issue.
The way my new plugins are structured mean that I can't use the current CF installer app.

Plus two of the reasons sonic mentioned the renaming of the plugins without the CF prefix and the delay in getting it out on the market.

I'm sure the installer method can be addressed but if CF insist on no CF prefix they they will never be able to approve any of my plugins.

Let me jump in here, the RR prefix and CF prefix were probably a result of both myself and Sonic (and some others) who do our plugins for both FE's (In fact I am looking to do my plugins for any FE where possible) and needed some way to distinguish between the different FE's.

Because I program for both I tend to have both RR and CF installed on a CarPC for testing and because of this I had a plugin written for RR called wifiman would not work because CF already installed a dll called wifiman, thus I asked the developer to produce one that used a dll called RRWifiman. This illustrates the need for the prefixes.

Now as CF is a business I don't expect them to think aboutnot stepping on other FE's feet, but I think it will also hampen their cause as there will be quite a few people using more than one FE, especially while they try to decide on which one they finally stick with. And it would be a shame if different FE's couldn't sit on the same PC without affecting the others.

All my new plugins for CF, RR and standalone will come with a main processing DLL and the FE's DLL will mainly be bridge to the FE's engine. Therefore I need to prefix the FE's dll with CF or RR respectively.

Aside from writing applications which utilize it I have no affiliation on mp3Car app mart. The app mart is Sean's (Optikalfx's) creation. I have no bias towards the market or app mart I simply use the one that makes less work for me. If you or anyone else is under the impression that i somehow make money from promoting mp3Car OR app mart you've got the wrong interpretation of what's going on. They take their 30% off all my application donations just like anyone else who uses the site. Perhaps if I only wrote apps for CF and didn't mind the other hurdles I'd consider using the CF Market.

No, no..I'm sorry if I gave the impression that there was any financial interest involved. That absolutely was not my intent. As both you and Enforcer have pointed out, the Centrafuse Market is very specific with regards to the Centrafuse product, and isn't particularly user-friendly for developers that offer their apps to more than one front end. So while I might argue that it offers a better solution for delivering apps inside the Centrafuse ecosystem, it is not the ONLY way, nor does it represent the complete picture with regards to CF3.5-compatible applications.

                            Sorry for the mis-understanding.
