  • Shutdown Control

I dunno if this is a feature request or a plugin request, but I think a good addition to Centrafuse would be the ability for it to listen out for the ACPI signals and then be able to do certain things based on the signal it has received.

The main idea was if I stop and turn off the car, my m2-atx loses the acc line and sends the shutdown pulse to the system. This is all good, but what about when I stop for fuel. I don't want it to turn off, only to have to turn on again when I get in the car 5 minutes later.

It would be cool to have a prompt display on the screen when it received the shutdown/hibernate/suspend instruction and gave you the option to ignore the signal and keep the computer going. The display would only remain on screen for a couple seconds and if it didn't get a user input it would go ahead and shut the computer down.

I _think_ Streetdeck may have a similar feature.

I'm not sure if it's been discussed before, but I couldn't find anythign similar in a quick search.
I installed my carpc into my pet Kangaroo, mate.

I will add it to my list of things to look into...

I think it might be on there.. if not, I will add it...

shouldn't be that hard to add something like this...

a plugin could also do this easily...
