  • Anyone using a Motorola Droid with Centrafuse?

I'm having some trouble with bluetooth in CF 3.1 with my Motorola Driod. It pairs correctly and can place calls, but the audio quality is absolutely horrible. It's so bad, you can't even understand what someone is saying. I paired my girlfriend's samsung phone (don't know the mode) and it worked much better. If you're using a Droid, would you mind posting with whether or not you're having problems and which bluetooth adapter and BlueSoleil version you're using. It would also be helpful if you could let me know what version of the Android OS (Settings->About phone->Android Version & Build Number) and ROM, if applicable.

    Dongle: D-Link DBT-120
    BlueSoleil: 8.0.338.0
    Android OS: 2.2.1 - Liquid Frozen Yogurt v1.71 (FRG83)

I have a couple Droids but i have done most of my testing with the Droid2 Global

Everything seem to work just fine. I am using the same version of Bluesoleil and i have the same dongle

It connects well, pretty much flawlessly everytime. I have never had an issue with the audio transfer or anything else.

I don't have a permanant mic in the car so all my tests have been through a temporary crappy mic.

I do experience the Echo issue but that is inherant to all of these types of setups

Just thought I would post that since the 3.5 upgrade (haven't tested with 3.6 yet) I had many issues and stopped using

I have a Droid X. Never had much luck with CF3.1, and even CF3.5 was problematic. However all of that has ended with CF3.6

100% connectivity, fast response and the sound quality is probably as good as my lousy mic will allow. Just did the OTA upgrade to Gingerbread this morninig and everything continues to work without a hitch. Using the BS 8.xxx stack and a Targus BT dongle.

        Very happy.

Actually, I'm NOT a happy camper. It's too hard to ignore the calls from the old lady now...

I'm using a pretty generic Broadcom dongle right now. I was using a Targus for a while with mixed results. I'll check the specific model the next time I'm out in the car.

Did you ever get a chance to check on the model of your Bluetooth dongle? I am about ready to try another one but I just want to make sure that I get one that works well before I fork over the cash

                    Thanks
