HAHAHA, $149 for the Australian Nav version, with 1.5 year old maps, and probably 95% of the same bugs as 3.x

Pass, there is no way in hell Flux will get another cent from me. The fact that they went from 3.0 to 3.1, then jumped to 3.5/3.6 in order to race their way to a 4.0 release where they could double dip charge the users again has sold me on the lack of integrity the company has.

no need to insult... i mean technically the new version of CF shares the same upgrades as the new iPhone... Cloud integration lol.

If you haven't spend money on 3, I have not tried 4 but I don't think it's any worse than 3, you might as well try/buy it as I believe most plugins from 3 will work with it anyways.

You'll get similar features, similar bugs and similar poor or non functioning features in both. Your NAV software will be out dated and contain a poor routing engine so I definitely would not recommend buying the nav version. Don't expect everything to work as expected just because it's a paid front end. That's the biggest mistake most people make; they expect everything to work "right out of the box" due to the price of it.

You will still have plenty of fun figuring out bugs, doing patches and figuring workarounds. In some cases certain things just won't work so you get to enjoy the "car pc experience" just like the RR, OM, etc. people do. Remember too, if it doesn't work and they can't or won't fix it, it's not open source so learn to love you bugs!

What you will get is a very polished looking FE and a whole support forum with excellent people that is excellent dedicated just to CF.
