    Hello there,

I know there are many threads about this and id say ive read them all. So my question is for you old SN users how do u use it in CF. Ive seen many solutions and i havent got one that fits me, i have SN for 3 days and my carPC is in my room i was testing this for hours and didnt find good solution for controlling CF? Heard about RBC9 drivers, tried beta's with binds to keyboard combos and currently im messing around with CF plugin but i dont have time to make XML right now and the ones ive found from other users were kinda not complete or non 100% funcional. I just wanted to check your setups so i dont waste time configuring some outdated solutions coz new sol
utions might already have some more advanced options... For now im gonna use it with CF plugin soon as i make XML that fits me. Anyways i need it mostly to skip songs but since it can do many more things id like to configure it good. Id say this is the best solution 3d beta drivers + CF plugin, maybe making a skin which is more oriented on SN navigating would be nice making CF fully contollable via SN...

    Thanks!

    EDIT uploaded my XML...

    CweLe,

Thanks for posting your XML. I installed a SN in my vehicle and started looking at getting it working with Centrafuse (3.6) but haven't been able to figure out where to put the "Space" file from the Marketplace. I tried dropping it into the Plugins folder, along with the XML file that I found online. I have also installed the Connexion software and driver (Win 7, 64-bit system). I can control the 3D software (all works fine in the "training") so I know my SN's talking to Windows but when the "Space" file is in the Plugins folder Centrafuse crashes on start-up. If I take it out, all is fine.
Where have you put the "Space" file and the XML?

    Thanks.

Yeah, I didn't put anything up on here partly because I haven't been on here as frequently and partly because I was being a n00b about it. As it turns out, I was using the stock drivers that came with my SpaceNav and was trying to get the Centrafuse Plugin to work with them. I had "installed" the newer driver/software from 3Dconnexion but for some reason it didn't fully take and I didn't realize that the newer one would be noticeably different so I thought I was using the new one. Anyhow, once I got the new driver/software fully installed, it was a no-brainer. I absolutely love my SpaceNav. I have an Inelmatic SF1000 Touchscreen monitor which I also love but I bought it because I needed something rugged and weather resistant (soft top Jeep). Anyhow, my monitor likes to collect fingerprints, particularly if you have sunscreen on your hands so the more I can use the SpaceNav for, the better. It's also great for not having to look away from the road to do things like change a track/station or adjust the volume or mute.

I only used it for track forward back (slide left/right) and volume (twist) the other gestures were too hard to do while driving.
