  • Running Centrafuse as shell

I get a "common language error" when I try to run centrafuse as shell. However, when I boot into explorer and run centrafuse, everything is fine and dandy.

I installed all 3 files on the veetid's page if that helps.

Anyone got a clue as to what is going on or if I need to specifically run certain files/services in conjuction with CF?

I would like to know if there is a way to do this as well. I have tried this and had problems as well.

I have run a .NET app as a shell before, so it's not the .NET framework that's a problem.
Maybe there are dependancies on explorer? Or perhaps on the something else that explorer would load.

it just saves a few precious seconds of boot time...! but i couldn't say i noticed any performance increase once it's running.

for me it does not work to set frodo's LMF as shell and start centrafuse as application. on startup the system hangs in a case, i get the same error message if i set centrafuse directly as shell (anything like language error ....). centrafuse as shell would be very nice.

Ionno, I simply use a bat file as my Shell which launches Centrafuse first and then the explorer shell. Works fine.

                          Code:
                          cd "\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance"
                          start iGuidance

                          sleep 30

                          explorer
For sleep, you will need to download the file online.
