  • Best Radio Receiver?

What's the best radio receiver that's compatible with Radiator? I'm going to be running it with centrafuse so that's why I'm asking what fm hardware you guys use with centrafuse.

thanks in advance for your help.

I heard that the Cinergy 600 has RDS function, I think in a mobile radio it's a must

Did you even look at the links properly?

The user manual shows clearly it comes with radiator!

not only does it come with radiator, but in the upcoming 1.3 I should have direct support for this radio so no 3rd party apps such as radiator will be neccessary. It should also allow me to add scanning support, which radiator didn't..

                  how well does it work?

because my pioneer headunit gives me crappy reception ever since my car pc was installed, i always get a lot of static with radio.

I don't use a headunit... I run directly from my computer into an amp... I also built an adapter, which is very easy, to plug the RadioXtreme into my stock car antenna. I sometimes get all the stations my headunit did, but on average I would say 80% as good as my headunit was.

note: It was better than all the other usb radios I tried. I tried them all from the dlink to the usb WinTV with built in radio and none got as good of reception as the this one did.

I tried a PCI adapter with TV and radio, I get good reception but as soon as I move the car the reception starts "popping"..

Does anyone have pictures of how they connected their car antenna to the RadioXtreme?

I see it has an antenna in jacket, is it possible to connect the car-antenna with that one, or do you have to modify the cables?

                            RadioXtremeCRAP

dont buy it. When i had it hooked up, the volume would fade high and low.

Ever since i got the Wintv USB FM i have been happy. Now i have my two favorite radio stations. Before with the radio xtreme it was horrible

If you fine tune the stations, down to about 10hz, then the fade in/out stops...

I get better reception with the RadioXtreme than my WinTV USB... I have both here...

Could be Antenna's or something.... I've been using the standard metal Jeep Cherokee Antenna...
