  • Nav plugin, how do I work this thing?

Ok, I've gotten the nav plugin installed, got some maps installed which seem to work, having some problems using it.

    1) How do I set the home location

    2) How do I get it to display where I currently am, which it should know from GPS

    3) Is it possible to have it constantly update the map with my current location and show me the roads in the vicinity, ideally rotating the map around my car like my old Garmin StreetPilot III does.

Home location is set up from Settings -> Plugins -> NAV -> Second page of settings contains Home Location and also GPS settings.

All working now, thanks. It wasn't working before because I wasn't in an area covered by the sample maps. Forgot to install my proper ones. doh!

This is cool. The screen update rate is a little slow, but I suspect once I'm driving around I won't notice as I won't be watching it update.

I had it calculate a route to my work, but not tested it yet.

The next question is, how do I enter in my favourite locations in Longitude/Lattidude format, so that I can copy everything from my Garmin before it finally dies (it really is on it's last legs)
