  • Getting USB TV working under v1.6

I get nothing when I select the tv module option. Is there any special setting I have to change?

I think that embedding dscaler it's the easiest way.. I don't know why david does not think about skinning the Tv section around dscaler and use it..

I think some DLL's did not get registered in the tvmodules folder of the TV plugin. Try to regsvr32.exe the three files in that folder, or try to just install the hauppage SDK... Then it should work as long as you have WinTV selected in the TV plugin setup...

dscaler is nice, but could not be shipped with my commercial application...

someone should try and write a dscaler plugin and offer it for free download... If I get the time I can work on one, but after I get the application complely finished up...

I won't be able to distribute dscaler, so I can't write a dscaler plugin that's included in the commercial installer...

I got it working fine just using skinbedder.. all you need is quick channel change, and skin bedder works for this.. I think it would be a matter of minutes to write a plugin like this

Has anyone made any progress on this? I have a fresh install of 1.6, and installed the latest Drivers for my WinTV USB. I can use the wincap utility that installed with the drivers to watch TV> Turning on the WinTV option in Centrafuge causes an "Class not registered" error that fills Centrafuge and it must be killed from task manager.

I tried to run regsvr32.exe on the dlls in the tv folder and i get "tv.dll was loaded, but the DLLRegisterServer entry point was not found" on all three.

I finally loaded the OCX development kit from http://www.hauppage.com as suggested, but i get the exact same thing.

Am i missing something; any suggestions?

              THanks!
