  • Import filled up my hard disk....

Hi. I'm using the latest centrafuse and it's installed on D:.

My music is installed on C:. I went into centrafuse and chose library>import and selected my "my music" folder on C drive. it started scanning through all my mp3s and seems to be working fine. then it stopped and said hard disk is full. I checked and indeed it was full.

There's nothing running in the background which will fill it up and it's not a system drive so windows didn't fill it up.

THe problem is i can't find the files centrafuse has created so i can't free up the space.

what files are created when importing mp3s?

Did windows move your swap file to the D: ? Cuase I would think memory hugger like CF would eat alot so by the time it was done reading it wannted more and more memory and expanded your swap.

see how large main.dat in the centrafuse folder got... This is where the read file information is stored.. How much free space did you have on your C drive?

k turns out I misunderstood the term import. I have now added my music directory to centrafuse and used UPDATE instead. that worked fine. when i imported it it started copying mp3's into another directory (a my music folder in "my music").
