  • Getting rid of play pause buttons with external apps.

    Hey guys, I want to NOT have the play, pause, next etc buttons down the bottom when I runa external app. The thing is, if I run a application first (notepad or anything) then it displays the buttons, and AFTER that if I run my application (capture card program to display PS2) it looks perfect, but if I run my applciation straight off the bat, then it displays the buttons down the bottom, and I need to exit my application, and then go back into the application, and they are not there.

    External settings are...

    <APPLICATION APPNAME="PS2">
    <PATH>C:\Program Files\VideoMate\ComproDTV 2.5\ComproDTV.exe</PATH>
    <PARAMETERS />
    <WINDOWNAME>COMPRODTV</WINDOWNAME>
    <PAUSEMUSIC>True</PAUSEMUSIC>
    <LINECONTROL>LINEIN</LINECONTROL>
    <STARTFULLSCREEN>True</STARTFULLSCREEN>
    <GUIAPPLICATION>True</GUIAPPLICATION>
    </APPLICATION>

    Any ideas on how I can fix this?

    edit the skin.xml file of the skin/skins you are using and look for th externalapp section... It has a fullx, fully, fullwidth, fullheight parameter... you can modify these to fill the whole screen...
