"Navigation does not fully change into metric mode"

Is there a way around this or we'll just have to wait for another release? I'm using GPS on a regular basis and would kinda really also like it in metric.

BTW, which maps does this engine now accept? When trying, I've seen that it also opened D6 maps. Is it safe for me to use D6 maps or would it be better to stick with PN?

I was very eager of trying the D6 maps. I've been using them for some time on the PDA and they seem to be much better than everything else we had sofar, I'm just concerned that this wouldn't affect stability. And I'd *really* not want to go to 1.6 or an external app like mapmonkey just to be able to have the navigation in metric...

I should have an update for our GPS engine soon... The property in my object currently doesn't work...

Is this something we can fix ourselves - ie. in an .ini file?

From what David says, it sounds like it comes down to the actual software just can't do it at the moment.

If you know how to manually edit Destinator.INI, that is where the setting is stored... It's a binary file though...

Here's a Destinator.ini that is set to metric.
Copy that into the "Flux Media\Centrafuse" directory, remove the .txt at the end and do the setup for COM port, map used and so on within CF.
