Hey Clockwork thanks for the fast programming to get labels for Phidgets. Just setting up now and will post some pics once all setup. Great work! SNO

Phidget 1018 works perfectly, I have all 8 analog inputs populated using 1135 precision voltage, 1125 combo humidity/temperature, 1122 30amp current, 4x 1124 precision temperature, and digital outputs 2x 3053 ssr dual relay board and a 3052 ssr single relay. Driveline handles the value changes instantly and phidgets are pure quality products. SNO

Any chance of getting phidget on main page? It pretty difficult to get to the phidgets the way it is now 2 levels down, maybe put pandora on the now playing as a tab. Also once you get tpms going that will need to be on main page as well. Maybe do the obd2/tpms/phidgets like media page with radio tabs. Just a thought SNO

Phidgets is not saving settings again. As soon as a restart its blank again, saves description though. I tried changing properties to read only after I populated the analog inputs. DL gave error on exiting. I checked phidgets xml and it has the info in there, I take off the read only but when I start DL they are 0's again. Any thoughts? SNO

Just so I'm clear, the Phidget Type (ie 1101 or whatever) is saving correctly, and it's just the custom sensor-name that isn't working?

Can you give me a step-by-step to reproduce the error you received?

No other way around the custom name is being saved. The sensor i.e.1135 is not being saved. Just normally adding the sensors via settings page in driveline, works fine all sensors populated and accurate. shut down DL and restart it and the sensor values are 0's the custom name is still there. The next time i set the sensors, minimized DL and went to phidgets.xml and saw the sensors and custom names, made the file read only started DL went to phidgets and custom names are there but sensors are 0's again. shut down DL is squak's about the file and closes. Un read only the phidgets.xml file and start DL again, sensors are 0's. Set it up again in settings inside DL and gets populated correctly shut down DL same thing again and again. Hope that clears it up abit SNO

Fixed. New ZIP in "Latest Build" post. Also added error handlers for saving config files.

Fixed again. So now, it's double-fixed.

I need some lights in my car. Footwell lights both front seats, and both rear seats, all controllable individually. I had a box of KFC fly off the front passenger seat after a sudden stop, and had no lights to see if the gravy popped open. Another time I had some books in the back seat slide around and some were under each seat, hence the need for footwell lighting.

So my plan is overkill, LED lights for 4 footwells, rear seat dome lights, bright LED's for under the hood, and maybe some rave party lights that go to the music, so I look cool (fool) when I show my carputer project off at work. Phidgets... What do I need just to drive digital outputs.

So I was looking at the 1012_2 PhidgetInterfaceKit 0/16/16, and seen it can sink 2 amps per digital output channel, which would be perfect for the higher current LED's used to light the engine compartment.

So my question is, Driveline already configured to trigger the 16 digital outputs on the 1012_2 kit? If so, that's the one I'm ordering, because I don't need any relays, it's ready to go.

It should work just fine for you, just be sure you don't want any analog sensor's. but that would not be the end of the world as you can have more than 1 phidget board if you needed to add in later. You will need the phidget library 21 installed then DL will be able to use. SNO

as SNO said, it should work fine. The default skin in DriveLine supports 8 analog inputs, 16 digital inputs, and 16 digital outputs. Support for more could always be added if necessary. The phidgets are all driven through skin commands and skin events, so they allow for a lot of customization.

i would probably have to do some work to support multiple phidget boards.

I don't think I would need any analog sensors, I can't think of what I would use them for? I see they have an 8,8,8 board and a 0,16,16 board, but no 8,16,16 board. I just like the high power digital output functionality of the 0,16,16 board where I don't need relays.
