    Hi,

Can someone point me in the right direction? This was all working fine before on my Windows XP build, so not sure what I'm missing. System now upgraded to Windows 7.

I have the Monkey Board DAB radio module. This is installed fine and shows in my device manager as it should. It is assigned to com port 4. Now when I run DriveLine and open the settings screen, it only shows the options of disabled or com ports 1 & 2 under the DAB radio tab and is not seeing my module. I have tried to manually enter the com port into the settings XML, but this does not make DriveLine see it either when I start it up.

I have tried the test software from the Monkey Board guys to make sure everything is working properly with the module and the Windows environment and this sees com port 4 and will play the radio fine, so I know the module is working fine with Windows.

Am I missing some settings or windows software, etc to make DriveLine see the com port and DAB module?

    Any ideas?

If the port is not showing up in the list, make sure no other program is using the port, and also check the other radio settings (XM, HD) in DriveLine to make sure none of them are assigned to comm 4.

Thanks guys, now fixed. None of the other radios were using the com port, but I found that my obd was set to use com port 4. Changed it and com port 4 then appeared as it should in the list for the DAB radio. Tested and this now works.

Only problem I had was sometimes the mute button would not stop the sound. The button and sound bar switches from blue to grey but the sound still comes out

Sometimes? That's odd. So it does work sometimes, but not other times?

Yeah, a bit strange. I was testing it a few times and it was muting and starting the sound as it should. Then all of a sudden each time I pressed the mute button it would grey but the sound still came out

Also, the volume bar does nothing when you change the level on radio, the sound level just stays the same. whilst the radio is on I can go back to media and play/stop music by muting and starting fine. The sound comes out overlayed on to the radio sound. Each time I close DriveLine the fm radio station keeps reverting back to 101.1 too, even if I change this within the settings xml

Is the input line for the DAB radio set correctly in DriveLine?

Do you mean line in or speaker?

in DriveLine, the setting under Radios--DAB--Input Line should be set to either a Line-In or Mic. I just want to confirm you've got it set to the appropriate input on the PC.

In Driveline I have it set to line in. The only options in driveline are line in or speaker input

Okay. Sounds correct. I will look in the code to see if I can identify any potential issues around the DAB radio.
