  • My Wish List (If I may)

    Hi,
    First why I like Freeway:
    1) Fast to load not bloated
    2) No need to have WMP to play Vid (I am using Winamp Mplayer plugin)
    3) Designed on newer WinAmp
    4) hibernation works without any problems
    5) Visuvalization seems to work better

    Now My Wish List
    1) Flexible GPS Button- Almost any GPS Prog can be used( not as an Ext App)- at least most popular once

2)Tv Button - on main skin to work with Winamp TV plugin

3)WEB button - on main skin - with possibility to "Carweb" integarion - Flexible, IE FFox etc

    4) On/OFF Button- on main skin -without the confirmation question, may be user configurable to be Hibernate, restart or shutdown.

Would you please consider these changes? or guide me how to do it?

This requires coding on my part. Which GPS app did you have in mind?

2)Tv Button - on main skin to work with Winamp TV plugin
What TV plugin do you use?

3)WEB button - on main skin - with possibility to "Carweb" integarion - Flexible, IE FFox etc
There is a web button in the apps menu. You can easily edit the skin.ini file to move it to the main screen if desired.

    4) On/OFF Button- on main skin -without the confirmation question, may be user configurable to be Hibernate, restart or shutdown.
These buttons also exist in the system screen.

    Thanks for your compliments, too!

      Wish List Explained

      1) It'll be good if you can include:
Mapmonkey (quite popular among mp3car users)
GaroNav ( a new GPS based on Destinator with quite good skin)

      2) Winamp TV Plugin is from below site:
      http://www.tv-plugin.com/index.php?id=1,0,0,1,0,0

      3) Web Button:
I put below two lines in the FW.ini file
FirefoxEXE=c:\program files\Carweb\Carweb.exe << This gives "Run Tme Erroe 53 File Not found"

"FirefoxEXE=c:\program files\Carweb\Carweb.exe" << << This gives "Run Tme Erroe 53 File Not found" as well.

c:\program files\Carweb\Carweb.exe works in command line. (RUN)

      4) ON/OFF Button- Is there a way to remove confimation scrren. (Idea here is to minimise key strokes)

      Thanks again for FW.

I'll work on these when I get some time.

Not sure why you're getting this, but regardless, if it's not Firefox, it won't work with the web feature. You have to embed it as an external application (extapps.ini).

Yeah, I can add an option in the next release.
