  • Full-screen GPS/GPS resizing support added

    I just added full-screen GPS support today. For anyone who wants to test it out, replace your Freewayultra.exe with the attached executable. Also, replace the two gps_xxxx.png files in the skins\default\screens folder. Use the eye icon to switch to full-screen GPS.

    This also addresses the GPS not resizing when StretchSkin=1 issue.

            I get the same results as MadDash. I'm using iGuidance and Freeway 0.7.218.

            Sounds related to tn6478's problem in the other thread. If no video is playing, the green screen results, and if there is a video playing, you get the video instead (by clicking the eye while in gps mode).

              Well, I tried the "default-4by3" skin, and full screen GPS worked! I this is the first time it has worked for me since the release of the "C" versions. Hopefully this will help you pinpoint the problem.

              Upon clicking the "FW" button to exit full screen, I get the following error:

              ...actually, after a closer look, it seems the error is generated when the mouse is on top of the "FW" button (mouseover event), not when it is clicked.

              Code:
              See the end of this message for details on invoking
              just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

              ************** JIT Debugging **************
              To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
              application or computer (machine.config) must have the
              jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
              The application must also be compiled with debugging
              enabled.

              For example:

              <configuration>
                  <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
              </configuration>

              When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
              will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
              rather than be handled by this dialog box.
              Update:
              I tried placing the two "gps_xxxx.png files" from the first post and the then from default4by3 skin into the default skin, but neither one made a difference.

                These issues have been fixed for a long time -- sorry, I just haven't released a build. Try 219. (http://www2.onu.edu/~m-keryeski/freeway/)
