  • ESC Program for Vis

I like to use Goom in my car for my vis, but it is one of the visualizations that the double click won't work to esc fullscreen. This program is a simple program that uses transparency to hide a "always on top" square in the left corner of the screen... When clicked it sends the "ESC" keyboard command and exits the vis... Its not really usable, because you wouldn't want it loaded all the time, but just an idea that is already coded and could be used...

I wrote it in VB, because I know that is what you use Frodo.... All you would have to do is make this code loadup when the vis goes fullscreen and unload when you come out of fullscreen...

Actually that's really cool for touchscreen folk, because a 2x click doesn't exit fullscreen. Maybe if you had a translucet red X, or maybe completely trasparent section in a corner. We couldn't see it, but we would know where to press to exit. I want to see how this develops, cuz people with TS probably don't want to have a Kbrd to just press esc.

That is exactly what this code I included already does... It makes a transparent totally 100% invisible square in the left corner, that with a single click sends the "ESC" key from the keyboard... The source code is included.. take a look... Very simple stuff... Hopefully it could get integrated.. Not only for the vis's that don't work with double click, but to also to make all vis's exit on a single click..

This won't be a problem in the next version as long as you use pseudo full screen mode.
