                frodo: http://www.fraps.com/ FRAPS is cheap and very good. It lags a little bit when you are recording lots of 3d stuff or other hardware surface DirectX stuff, but should do great for your needs.

                  Thats very funny since I made a parser today for fraps framerate output file
                  so a hardware site can filter some data
