  • Frododvd in mediacar + dvd widescreen?

Hello, I am trying to use FrodoDVD in MediaCar, or just frodoplayer DVD, and bother do not work. Works on home computer...but in car it just does not load the cd...i believe i set all the configuration correct.
Also, are there any other players that would work in 848-480 resolution that I have coming out of my epia-m10000 rca out.

    Thanks in advance ciao

I dont know why..windvd works...windows player tells me something about copyrights and doesnt work...where the frododvd (after i did the 'command line') spun the dvd the first time i tried..didnt play it, and didnt even spin the second or third time i tried. maybe m10000 and pioneer inslot dvd players dont work for this program?
I went to the dir of the player and looked at the errorlog file...i need to get it later...ihad to leave and came backnow at 2 am..so get the log later
thank you frodo for helping...and does anyone know what programs run in 848-480 res>

---And I did do the "regsvr32 mswebdvd.dll" command line. The computer confirmed it was successful.
                  Thanks

go back to the same dir and type

                    regsvr32 mswebdvd.dll /u

                    then

                    regsvr32 mswebdvd.dll

                    and see what happens.

I thought so...i have unleadDVD player...but now that I think of it...the Windows media player does not play my dvds...it gives out a messege that say something about copyrights violated. This makes me doubt that the codecs are installed...where would i get the codecs?

um been out on a camping trip for a while...so I had to install and use PowerDVD...however, it seems it is not as comfortableto use as frodoDVD and also is taking my cpu power and slows down the video. It also makes the audio to skip. But now I figure that if I cant get the Windows MediaPlayer to work, then frododvd will work also . Media player spins the dvd...except it shows a blue screen...and almost no sound. I think I need to find a correct dvdcodec. I got a mpeg 2 and 4 codecs...4 said it was a dvd codec...but i guess they are wrong.
So what I need to do is get dvd codecs(where) and make frododvd work.
