  • FrodoDVD No Worky... :(

I have WinDVD 6 Platinum installed. WinDVD works fine. FrodoDVD just comes up with a blank screen. No more, no less. It's like it does not even attempt to read the DVD in the drive. Suggestions?

I have PowerDVD. I'll install it and see what happens.

Did you click the title button (menu) when you started frododvd? I know for me it won't automatically read dvds.
          Mine needs to be updated.

              cmd.exe (command prompt)

              go to windows\system32
              type regsvr32 mswebdvd.dll

I'll try that tomorrow. PowerDVD did not fix it.

Just curious (and in no way am I being a smartass). How come it does not do that for you when you install it?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll update you on how it goes.

Because it *should* already be registered.

Oh, I also unregistered and reregistered the mswebdvd.dll file. Still no worky. But it works with PowerDVD and WinDVD.

Did you set your dvd drive in the settings ? Shouldn't matter, but sometimes it does.
