  • Volume in girder

Well, i don't quite know how to explain this, but when adjusting the volume in frodo, the step between 1% and 2% is far bigger than between 99% and 100%. ie the Volume raise per percent is bigger on low percents than high.

Its the same thing with all aplications that use the windows volume scrollbar.

But, in girder, wont it be able to raise/lower the volume with an equation or something that would make the "hearable volumeraise" constant? Instead of just useing a single value...

(well, it wont make any sense for fp, but it would help when useing external volume controls like buttons, scroll wheels, remotes...)

use matchvol.exe.. it will match your wave volume to your master volume... therefore... volume increases at 1-2% are much smaller than at 90-91%

its in the frodo forums somewhere....

I cannot do that. I use the smart 5.1 on my M10000, so the master volume (whitch with smart 5.1 enabled is transformed into frontspeakers volume) only effects the front speakers.

Well, I've talked to "promixis" (creators of Girder) and they say it can be done useing "lua" programming. But since I'm not a programmer I can't get this any further...
