  • HELP, Frodoplayer hogging up my memory!

    ok first heres my comp
    m10000 mobo
    xp pro sp2 with windows media 10
    40 gb hd
    512 ram (32 shared)


    now on my old pc i was a 633mhz with 256 ram and ran frodo fine...now with this one its messing up so bad...just typing this right now with a song playing the song is skipping...in my ctr+alt+del processes tab frodoplayer.exe is taking up 75+% of my cpu usage...whats going on? even when nothing else is up, it is very slow between scrolling through songs and hitting "next" and all that

    please help

    What Vis are you running?

    Also some people have reported issues with windows media player 10

      u know what i thought it was wm10 but i couldnt figure out how to uninstall (did a system restore eventually) and im running 9 now and seem to be fine

          Not to resurrect an old thread, but when you went back to WMP9, did you do anything else? I uninstalled WM10 after it was bogging down my system, but it's doing the same thing with WMP9. However WMP9 ran fine before installing WMP10
