  • Sorry, I give up on frodoplayer

I just cannot get this thing to work properly. on my desktop, whenever I skin with something like brightlife all I get is a white screen.by the way, when I download the brightlife skin all I get is the dvd.ini, not sure whats up with that. when I try to put it on my carputer it fills only half the screen and I still cannot get it to change skins. Posted a few questions without any replies. So back to mediaengine. Its not perfect but hey it a least works for me.
Please do not take this post as a flame, I know I will get flamed. I see alot of potential in frodoplayer, but for now just too much work

I think a bit of would have solved your problems. Sorry to hear you're going to the other side.

Ah, you quit FP because a skin made by someone else doesn't work for you.

I really want the brightlife skin. I think it makes frodoplayer. I have done a search on my problem about the unskinned frodoplayer only displaying in the bottom half of the screen. but all I find is people with the same question. Has anyone else had the problem with downloasding brightlife or brightlife2 adn the directory only containing the dvd.ini?

          Good Link
          http://frodoplayer.com/nonuke/downlo...BrightLife.zip

          Unzip to your skins directory.
          Should look like:

          Code:
[FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\PICS <---More Files in here
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\DVD.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\Keyboard.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\menu.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\mini.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\mini2.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\PICS
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\plsbuild.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\Radio.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\Searchby.ini
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\skin.INI
          [FrodoPlayer Path Here]\Skins\BrightLife\xm.ini
You can change the skin in FP ini, or use the skin changer inside settings.
