  • Weather Icons missing

I noticed when running the weather plugin that there were no icons. The nweather.py calls out for the weather icons to be in "usr/local/share/nghost/vistique/screens/images/weather/". There is no folder "weather" in "images".

They should be in a subfolder in vistique. nweather actually queries nghost for the images folder and the reference to the other folder is deprecated.

Looking through the vistique folder(and subs) I found none of the weather icons.

You can get the icons from the svn.
          Code:
          svn co https://nghost.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/nghost/nghost2/trunk/src/skins/vistique/screens/images/weather /usr/local/share/nghost/vistique/screens/images/weather
Nghost didn't have the entry to deploy the icons when installing. I updated the svn, so for now on icons should be available.

          Edit:
Forgot the / in front of usr.

If svn code was successful the icons where installed in /home/yourname/usr/local/share/nghost/vistique/screens/images/weather. I copied the weather folder over to the /usr/share/nghost/vistique/screens/images folder and they appear on the wether screen.

I"ll push an update with n2o_2k's changes to the repo. n2o_2k, i know you looked into porting nweather to be an actual plugin, how far did you get with this? I can't image it would be too difficult using libcurl/qt. But idk...

I have some code writing with libxml++ as an actionevents, but it's not finish nor tested. I have to look at qt and dbus maybe.... because right now the current plugin is tied to specific screen. It would be nice if a widget on any screen can get updates for the plugin.
