  • pulseaudio defaults to mute at startup

I am not sure why but pulseaudio is always muted at startup. Any way to get the default changed to "unmuted"?

I'm not sure why it does that but it's really annoying. I can get around it by only suspending/hibernating. Googling a bit more i found a few suggestions:

    or

give it a try and let me know if it works. I'll push out an update if it does...

The first option works on my VM with restart or shutdown/powerup. I did have to modify the instructions as the line they said to edit out (I commented it out) was actually at line 372 vice 378 or 379.
