i just installed media engine and am playing around with it.

when i go into the settings and click on the gps tab nothing appears. i have my gps hooked up and it still does not appear. also how do i tell mediaengine what gps software i use, or is that listed in the place i can't get to.

    thanks

I'm Using "Map & Guide Travelbook 4" as External Application along with Media Engine - works great. The only thing I had to do was setting the preamp-settings in WinAmp to minimum, so I can clearly hear the voice directions from Travelbook.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward into a ME-Version with GPS Support

Yes, is there a way to auto attenuate the music when a GPS event happens !? I would immagine it to be tricky, since both use the wave out, and you'd have to get some sort of signal from the GPS software itself... and then pause or attenuate the signal from the mp3 player...

          Would be nice

I think it is just like a plug for your car radio. It fades when a signal comes through

Look for the ones that state GPS.
