  • Where can I get MediaEngine 2.1.5?

The www.mediaengine.org website has been down 9 out of 10 times that I've visited there over the last week. Unfortunately, the one time it was up I didn't downloading the program.

To make matters worse, all the links on the mp3car software page are broken.

I did a search and found a link to an older version, but not 2.1.5.

I hope the reason the MediaEngine folks aren't maintaining the website is because they are too busy making the software even more slick than it already is.

If no one can point me to a link, can someone just email it to me ([email protected])? Pretty please? With sugar on top?

When I am at school I can always connect to the site, but I can never connect at home. Weird!

        Armen, got it. Thanks...

tmar89, that's what I thought too at first...that my connection from home was being blocked for some odd reason, but I think it's just coincidence. Their site appears to go down frequently. Maybe we should all be donating more money to their project...

Mediaengine.org has some very funky DNS issues. I've noticed that RCN does not have mediaengine.org in their DNS servers, but the DNS server I run on my network can look it up just fine. try adding the IP address of 66.92.64.2 to your dns servers in your TCP/IP config and see if you can connect. (thats a DNS server for Speakeasy, the greatest ISP in the world.)
