  • Album Art does a slide show thingy!

Hey I just noticed last night that if you have multiple images in a folder ME will cycle through them for the album art. I had no idea, did anybody else know about this? Is there any list of these more unkown features of ME?

    Toodles!

Glad you appreciate that feature. And no, there really isn't a list of undocumented features. If there were they wouldn't be undocumented, huh?

I noticed this a while back but would like to turn it off. Apparently, some pictures of an "adult" nature wound up in my mp3 folders. When I initially transfered some 6800 mp3's to the car pc, they moved too. One day while running ME, my son asks "what's that?" and points to this hot chick doing a spread on the monitor. I turned the monitor off and blamed it on the pc. I realize I need to go through and delete those, but I'm not in the car for any one long period of time to go through hundreds of folders. (I could just search for all things jpg and delete those, although I still want the album art). I don't recall seeing a way to turn this feature off. Anyone know if I can?

I think it's wrong that only one company makes the game Monopoly.

I have found the ME reads embedded image in the mp3 (if you have the picture in it). You could safely delete the jpgs in the folders if your mp3's have the cover art embedded (Music Match does a good job of inserting the cover art, but there are other apps out there that do just as good and are free).

I use this MP3 tag editor, it's free and does ID3 1 and 2, Lyrics and Pictures. http://www.download.com/Mp3-Tag-Tool...ml?tag=lst-0-1

The best mass ID3 tagger I've found yet.

well i can help you clean up your pr0n without having to sort for hours.

assuming your mp3s are stored in 'D:\mp3' & you dont have any valid album artwork stored within your mp3 directory; also that your pr0n collection is mainly jpgs.

              from the command line type:

              del /S /Q D:\mp3\*.jpg
