        .

can't really offer much assistance here, my front end (when it becomes available) will have media file sync capabilities... but i still have a lot of work to do on it.

after writing this, I might release a part of my client/server media file service.. as a small program for everyone to run.... behind your current gui's...
Progress [I will seriously never be done!]
        Via EPIA MII
        512MB RAM
        OEM GPS (embedded)
        nLite WinXP pro on
        1GB Extreme III CF card
        Carnetix 1260 startup/ DC-DC regulator
Software: Still, re-Writing my existing front end in .Net

I've recently made the jump to frodoplayer which has an intergrated sync manager but up until last week i had the same problem using media engine.

After searching this forum i came across an app called robocopy which did just the job i think your after. As it is dos based there switches that need to be apllied when is is ran so i found it easier to create a bat file with everything required and then had that in the external apps list so it could all be run with just one click (provided the network connection was there).

          Hope this helps
