Did a search appears others have had this problem but solution not posted.
    My log says this:

2/27/2005 2:24:40 PM - An error occured in modDB.UpdateDBMain last_sql= section: 1, [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database '(unknown)'. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt., -2147467259
2/27/2005 2:33:04 PM - shutdown initiated by administrative request - os shutdown

It just started doing this when I clicked update DB from the settings screen to attempt to get some newly added stuff to show up. I then tried deleting setting.ini, running unregger and then rerunning ME but it did the same thing. Anybody got any ideas for me?

If anyone else has this happen, just do a reinstall right away. It worked for me anyways. I couldn't get it to recover any other way.
