  • Can't access the Appearance tab

ME just exits when I try the appearance tab in settings. I also got some error regarding msdxm.ocx first time I tried that appearance tab. How can I correct it? Install another msdxm.ocx file??

This is very frustrating! Can it be the MSDXM.OCX file? I don't know how to get the old one back. I tried older versions like the 2.2.6 and same thing happened. Is there a way to debug and see whats going on when MediaEngine fails? I don't get any error msg, just drops the program and you are back in windows again.

it's the file... just do a search for that file and replace it. I think we've let the developers know that the file causes a problem with the "appearance" tab.

I've posted the file on my site. Here'ya guys go:

          MSCOMCT2.OCX

Just throw the file into the folder with the other OCX file, your appearance tab problems should go away...

I'll leave the file out there for a while, or until I graduate and they take my site away

It is the one you need, and also you have the beta version, or you wouldn't have this problem. Email me directly with problems related to the beta.
