  • Think im being thick!

    Hi,

Im a newbie and think I am going to come across as extremley dumb! lol, my problem is quite simple, when I am playing a song, how the hell am I meant to fast forward / rewind!? lol

I have assigned the FF/REW to 2 keys of my choice so that works, but surely there is a default key map for these? And also, if it was in my car how am I meant to do it (I have no keyboard / remote, just touch screen), I see buttons for play, pause, stop, next track, prev track, but no FF / REW ?

Am I missing something amazingly obvious?

    Thanks for your time!

For touchscreen FFWD/FREV you hold down the >> and << buttons.

Sorry for such a late reply, but totally forgot about this post. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

I unfortunately have a second rather stupid question. Is there a way yo mute the audio (or to set it to say 10% of current volume) ?, I cant see any obvious button to do so, but I see a mute.gif file in the skins folder so presume that there is that option available.

      Thanks!

No, I noticed that mute was missing some time ago, but I've never gotten around to implementing it. I was thinking of doing away with the extra 'play' button on the audio player, and I think there is room for another button on the video player.

That play button is actually very handy, because if you want to start the song over again you can just hit it. So instead of having to go the previous track and then to the next track you can just hit play again. But thats just me
