  • OSK Keyboard support?

Hi, I was just wondering if there is a way to enable the keyboard to operate the OSK in ME 2.0? I don't have a touch screen and there is no freakin way I can move the remote to every letter while driving. I can't seem to find any option or setting. Thx.

No, he was trying to type using the keyboard as a keyboard and not as navigation control. Use your arrow and enter keys.

Yes, I want to enter the letters that I want to search by inputting them by keyboard (letter by letter) rather than using the joystick method with the remote. So I take it this is impossible then. Knowing little about programming it wouldn't take that much to tie the letters to the buttons, would it?

It would when we have re-assigned them to navigational controls. We discussed this during development and decided against un-hooking the keyboard navigation when OSK is onscreen. It wouldn't extremely hard to do, but we felt it would be confusing for the user to have it switch modes. Maybe I'll add an option for this in a future bugfix release, if anyone cares for it.
