  • dvd question/problem

I am in the process of installing my carptuter and am running mobile impact on my laptop.
I can not get it to play downloaded DVDs. I searched and it seems that this is a problem for this program.
My decoder turns the file into a TS file that I can play with power dvd and other programs. Is it possible to use power dvd with mobile impact.

Or is there another solution to this problem besides another dvd ripping program.

    Thanks

Actually I prefer ripping the dvd movies into avi files and then playing them in the Video Module. Here is a program that works phenomenally well:

I used Mediaplayer Classic as the program to play DVD movies and it only reads the typical VOB format files. I dont think it supports anything else. It was a free program that was easily embedded into Mobile Impact. You could set up Power DVD in the external applications module, but Im afraid its not very touch screen friendly and it wont embed into anything. You could also set up Windows XP to open Power DVD automatically every time a DVD is inserted.
    Mobile Impact
Highly innovative car computer multimedia/entertainment system software.

Thanks for the help Red I must say that since I am not very program savvy this "frontend" is the most user friendly I have found and it works well.

Just one other question how do I save my playlists into another folder so when I hit the playlist button it brings them up.

      Thanks
