  • Which GPS software should I use...

I am now using your front end. Just wondering what is the best/easiest GPS software to use/setup. I have searched the forums but don't see a good answer. I live in the US.
    Thanks,
    Bruce

This is kind of tricky, but its easiest to just have it open and be on top. Open this file C:\Program Files\Mobile Impact\config.ini and then change/add the following.
            [GPS]
GPSPATH=C:\Program Files\CoPilot\copilot.exe -> whatever the path to the
            exe file is.
GPSCLASS=CopilotProgramClass -> whatever the window class is.

            To get CoPilot to embed...
To obtain the GPSCLASS entry, you download Windows Handle Grabber and then run it and drag and drop the cross hairs onto the title of CoPilot, then the text that shows up in the Class Name: box will be the GPSCLASS.

This will open up CoPilot when you hit the GPS button from the main menu and hopefully embed the program. The buttons at the bottom of the GPS screen only work for iGuidance, but the volume buttons will still work. Good luck, it may take a try or two to get it to work right, let me know how it goes.

I am thinking about iGuidance...that looks the best?

I use both Iguidance and copilot....they both have features that I wish the other had...Iguidance is VERY easy to use, while copilot is VERY touch screen friendly...

I started with copilot, so I may be a bit bias...but they are both fine programs...however I am using copilot live 7...I haven't tried the newest one...
