There are actually a couple of ways that you can acomplish using the split screen feature of the program.
#1. Get a screen that is capable of showing 1600x600 or 800x1200 depending on which way it is rotated.

#2. Get use a 2nd pci video card to extend windows desktop->windows xp required

#3. Replace the existing agp video card with a video card that has 2 types of outputs, vga and composite video out, or vga and dvi out.

Whichever one that you choose, I would highly recommend it as the next release of the program will feature a separate main menu on the 2nd screen so that the primary gps screen is not affected by multiple functions of the rest of the program, while still maintaining full control over the rest of the modules. The next release will feature-> If you are viewing gps and go back
to the main menu then select any of the other modules and the module is on the 2nd screen, it will move the module automatically back to the 1st screen thus giving the driver full unaffected control over the entire program. The 2nd screen will not have the ability to view the gps module. The next version is extremely advanced and uses much of the same functionality of the commercial version.

Thanks RedDeath, I'll go ahead and install a 2nd video card to use the feature test the feature. I was hoping to get an "unbiased" opinion from other users.

You lost me on the explanation of the feature in the new release; you seam to imply that it will improve something with the GPS..I don't see a problem now. Once i fire-up the GPS, i can go to any other function and as long as i don't hit the "exit" button (from the GPS sreen), the GPS will pop back up (running) from any screen.

But you know better so I'll await the new release patiently
