  • MMC and external Applications

This is the best frontend I have used, problem is with the external applications. How does a person add external applications to the frontend. I tried, and I could get paint to work, but it keeps the application open.
I wanted to have S&T 2005 as an extenal application.

I also noticed the web cam section does not work. If there is some documentation to go with configuring this frontend, it would help.

Yeah I am working on the external support. I am also working on a configuration system and documentation. Check back for further updates...

This is really nice software.. The interface is really nice to use. EQ, Pictures, DVD, MPEG videos.

With the last beta, does the virtual keyboard work? When it comes up, I try and edit something, but it does not update.

I really look forward to seeing a new version.

External apps has always been avail. It is setup by editing the Skin file under Membranes. I am working on a configuration system for easier config.

If you open the Default.xml and search for "Paint.exe" you can see the tags you have to copy and paste. Then just change the path to the file. I need to work on external apps more though. It is very alpha and buggy.
