  • "Client Not Responding..." Error!

Hi to everyone. I use a pc with WinXP MCE 2005, and Mediacar with Destinator. When I turn on my pc (or after an hibernation) and I start Destinator I get a "Client Not Responding" error; I see that some people had this problem because of a firewall, but I have no one, I disabled even the WinXP one. However, if I close and restart Destinator 3 or 4 times, it eventually works.

    Any help?

    Thanks in advance!!!

It's trying to connect to SOMETHING...
Could it be some sort of malware trying to connect to the 'net before that conenction is re-established after the hibernation?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

      loopback

from my calculations its a loopback, if you run a firewall, such as Zonealarm (which is free to d/load btw) then ALLOW the connection to the IP address (zonealarm will ask you if you want to allow it) then it will work without problems, i just cant find WHERE in windows settings to allow this IP access...

to fix it easily and quickly, just install zone alarm firewall, then when first prompted to allow the program to access the "internet" select "always allow" that will be the end of your problems...

read thru my previous posts, i suffered the same thing.. no, its not malware.
