Is there any chance in adding support for Navigator 4 (http://www.directions.ltd.uk/products.php) they do a pro version which says "This is an enhanced version of Navigator which allows you to import databases and implement mapping within your own software using an Active X inteface" and i know the software is pretty good as a friend uses all day everyday and doesnt have any problems plus it supports full UK postcodes.

I enquired about Navigator 4 and their activex interfaces before I went with Destinator. I specifically asked whether or not the api's provided the actual navigation capabilities (voice instructions etc) or whether it simply provided the route as a 'plan'. I was told that the API only provides the route description, and following of the route with voice instructions etc would need to be written in addition. This is of course a lot of work.

They asked why I wanted to know this, and I explained that I wanted to use it in the car and felt that the navigator 4 user interface was too fiddly for in car use. They replied saying that their car PC interface was due for release soon. I asked for a screenshot, which they provided me with, and.... ....it was unimpressive to say the least.

Maybe not my place to comment, but you might be on a hiding to nowhere with this one.

I just went with Destinator in the end.

        Hi Ric,

Any chance you could post the Screenshots, please?
