  • Planning a route!

Ok... I tried to search but didn't find anything... so here it comes...

I'm about to plan a trip thats about 1000km long and I have a faint Idea what roads I want MM to use...
I can't put in the destination by itself because then it selects some really strange roads (it's a pretty long trip) so I had to put in some more "spots" along the way...

My problem with this is that it only calculates the ETA to the next "spot" and not the the final destination... isn't there anyway that I can make MM understand that all these places between point A and point B is just to keep it on the right track...?

ok... still no one that has any answer for me... I have made the trip now and to get the ETA i only had one point... the thing is that MM sometimes wanted me to go roads that I know isn't faster or better and then when I didn't follow it's directions it constantly told me to "hold to the right followed by turn left" ie. it wanted me to make a u-turn... and it kept repeating this for a couple of km... gonna make the same trip again this spring so I still need some help on how to make it a bit easier...

mapping/routing software is only as smart as the data included. If the speed you drive on a road is different than what it thinks, it will not be correct. It's best to not route a trip when you know the route. It will drive you nuts.

the thing is that I really want the ETA... since it's such a long trip it's always nice to know when you're gonna be there... but if there isn't any other way I'll just have to skip it then and just use it to warn me for the speedcams... it should do that even if I don't have a route??
