If you turn Advanced GPS mode on in map monkey configuration you should be able to select your COM port there instead

I've looked and looked and cannot find where the advanced GPS mode is. I've tried everything I can and MapMonkey still cannot connect to my GPS. It can find it fine, just can't set the GPS. Is there any answer?

In your start menu there should be a "Map Monkey - Configuration" shortcut
