  • Next modification in the skin structure ;)

I'm changing the skin structure for giving possibility to remove any not needed button without need to modify the Gfx.

This consist only of adding the background picture without the buttons.

And also , the line "menu_off.jpg,menu_on.jpg" of the menu.skin file, for example, would be changed to : "menu_empty.jpg,menu_off.jpg,menu_on.jpg".

Also indexs of the buttons will not need to be continuous then you will be able to comment a button line without need to reindex the next lines.

Do you think that all the skin should support this or only the main menu ?

    i think it's a good idea..
actually.. i was thinking about was prescaling the images once and caching them to disk since I'm assuming it does resize it whenever it loads (esp the mixer screen)(always takes a while the first time you open it)

I think this is a good idea There would be some who don't want DVD or GPS or Radio, and rather than having to have different menus for each combination, this is a good workaround

I personally think that most people will only need to change the functions that appear on the main menu. There is not any "linking" to other bits...only the Mixer, which I would presume most people would like to keep?

I for one would like to see the choice in all of MediaCar's parts. I don't know if it'll be that much more work to accomplish, but it would be extremely modular that way.
Modular is good cause like that you please a lot of peeps and they can choose what they need or not without having to bug someone about it. Less fuss for Coyote or the skinmakers to worry about that way.
