  • MAPPOINT and Mediacar

Coyote, just a quick question, I have just installed mappoint 2002 and am having problems accesing the top menu bar to make the lower window scroll up, its because a 7" tft tends to have a dead zone near the top.

Is there a way of making this bigger so I can use it, there must be other people with the same problem.

I can do it with a mouse fine, but I wanna use me fingers

    thanks

While we are on the topic, I haven't use mappoint yet but by when Sunglassesron said that you have to click the top for the window to scroll up. I think that is kind of inconvenience. What I mean is you have to click the top bar, then move down to click the button on the window that scroll up. Can you make that the windows just roll down from the top bar?

In Divx/Movie player, that is fine because you click anywhere on the screen to get the menu/buttons. In mappoint you have to lick the top bar instead of anywhere on the screen. Just a suggestion.

I will add parameters for the up time and for the other problem you can change the top position of mediacar and reduce the height in the setup to fit correctly the screen

The click in the mappoint window is used by mappoint then I don't want to use it to scroll up the menu

Well, that would cure the problem of the touchscreen not working near the edge problem...but I think, what the others and me would like, is a wider black bar at the top then it's easier to hit with fat fingers!!

It would also be nice if you could display the maps in heading-up mode rather than north-up. And if you could change map colors it would almost perfect - the white roads on the beige background are hard to see.

Coyote, Can you change so that the menu is drop down from the top bar instead of scroll up from bottom?
