  • Beta testing team ?

Do you think that to create a team of beta testers would be a good idea ?

As I have only four computers at home and two hands it's very difficult for me to make directly new version free of bug because I can't test everything on a big range of setup.
Like I think that to publish buggy versions can annoy the user and can give a bad indication of MediaCar, it would be better to test new versions where there is big changes with a small beta testing team before publishing it.

What do you think of this ?

I would be more than happy to test on 2 of my 5 computers, one of which is going in the Z

For testing compatibility with operating systems (95, 98, 2000, XP etc.) you can use vmware (www.vmware.com) to simulate multiple PCs. Works great for me.

I think you need a non-software minded person to test it out too!
THAT'S me... I don't understand editing reg. taking out lines, adding lines...
But I can follow step by step instructions!

I assume you want this to be very user friendly, and easy to use (similar to Co-pilot) That way more people will use it. I like what I've been seeing so far, but am a little hesitant to try it, because I don't want to mess up my configuration.

But I would like to try it out and help out the CAUSE!
