you can always keep up to date on the main program here:

    http://openmobile.sourceforge.net/main/trunk/

However, I don't know how to install/access plugins into these revisions (I tried copying external gps and embedded apps plugins from the main installation into the revision and no dice)...

Yeah the link about is the latest SVN and .8 is here http://www.mp3car.com/openmobile/144...-released.html

I think everyone has been really busy with life lately. I have a few plugins in the works but all of which will require .9

The embedding plugins seem to have a bug in them on the svn version. I keep meaning to look at them but have not.

I can't seem to go back to .8 after using the svn versions . This is the only annoying part though, as switching between gps and om is a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

P.S. How do you use the ompkg plugins that are with the svn builds?

Yeah if you want to move back versions you most likely will needed to remove the database. I believe you should be able to double click the ompkg files and they should install. If not you may need to get the openinstaller from SVN and run that. I personally have not tried to install a ompkg from svn so I am not sure of the process.

Just wanted to let ya know that I downloaded the embedapp.ompkg and dragged it onto the openinstaller. It said it installed and the .dll was placed inside the skin folder where it's normally supposed to be. It's still not listed in the list for buttons on the main menu, so I think your bug theory is right. I haven't tried the other ompkg's but I'm assuming this method of installing them should be working?

Yeah, the whole dev team has been a bit too busy for a while, so updates have been slow to none.

The databases are incompatible between 0.8 and 0.9 so that has to be removed when testing the different versions (the installer for 0.9 will take care of this but when testing from svn this has to be done manually). Plugins that's compiled against 0.9 is also incompatible with 0.8 so make sure that you use the correct versions.

If OM has been installed using the release version (0.8 installer that is) then double clicking a ompkg file should install it properly, other wise use openinstaller to install by running
              Code:
              OpenInstaller.exe ompgkfile.ompkg
              Failure is not an option...
