I've just started putting a computer into my 1960 Cadillac Hearse.

I'm writing my own interface (called C.H.U.D. - Computerized Hearse User Display - Gotta have an acronym, right? )

running a nano pc, 7" touchscreen

Here's the main menu - the mp3 player controls are across the top..

Effects (not completed) leads to the DAC to control the fog machines, lights and sirens, by the way.

Here's a few of the mp3 playlist editor - dynamically reading the drive in realtime as to have to not maintain a seperate database. I just let iTunes do all the importing and organizing.
The green ones are on the playlist. touch to add, remove.

Oh, and here's the volume control in action - lol

Just thout you guys may be intersted in a newbie's take on it.

oh - it's written in VB as well. Anyone have any pointers to or on WiFi APIs?

That is a friggin' cool ride. Any photos of your meatwagon?
I've always wanted an older hearse or amnulance like early 60s, late 50s. Something like the one used in Ghostbusters.
Supposedly, Akroyd owns it and isn't about to give it up.

The front-end looks cool, as well. I like the use of the skulls to flow with the whole hearse theme, too.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

The hearse on the Effects button is mine

The GB car was a '59 I believe.

I'll post some pictures soon. Right now it's just at the beginning of it's cosmetic makeover. We've gutted it and are going to turn it into a limo in the rear. I run a commerical haunted house (The Baxter Avenue Morgue - ) so it's going to be a showpiece for that.

I have the interface done, and setup, just not installed in the car yet. I can't figure out where to put the screen. I suspect I am going to custom fab a dah panel as to not ruin the original look of the dash.

Oh, and here's a photo of Diedra...
