  • changing visualization anyone?

    doesn't anyone wish that RR would support visualizations directly.. i mean so we can change visualizations using RR. so we can have different visualizations on different skins..a spectrum analyzer e.g in one and avs on the other.

    or maybe we can have some external visualizations (haven't find any myself), using flash or something

    I have tried doing something like that without success. I was attempting to use "Sendkeys" to Winamp to change the visu's and never had any luck with it

        Yes it would be, and actually there are a few skins that have that. Liquid Smokes LSX Void for one.

          Well I got vis to switch on the fly in RR. But I did it in a flash skin running autoit and using SETVAR to save the window name of the vis to attach. Gets quite troublesome but it works. You have to set a global hotkey in winamp ( i did CTRL+ALT+C to open winamp preferences window.
          This is what my autoit script:

          AutoItSetOption("WinTitleMatchMode", 4)
          AutoItSetOption("WinDetectHiddenText", 1)
          $vis="none"
          ; Try to find vis window
          $spec=WinGetHandle("classname=attachanalyser", "")
          If Not @error Then
          $vis="spec"
          EndIf
          $tripex=WinGetHandle("classname=TripexW2WndClass", "")
          If Not @error Then
          $vis="tripex"
          EndIf
          Send("^!c") ; global hotkey to open Winamp Preferences Window
          Sleep(500)
          $handle = WinGetHandle("Winamp Preferences", "")
          ; go to Winamp Vis Select Window if its not there already
          if ControlSend($handle, "",1113 , "")==0 Then
          ControlSend($handle, "",1173 , "{PGDN}")
          ControlSend($handle, "",1173 , "{UP 2}")
          Sleep(1500)
          EndIf
          If @error Then
          ;MsgBox(4096, "Error", "Could not find the correct window")
          ElseIf $vis=="tripex" Then
          ControlSend($handle, "",1113 , "{UP}")
          ControlSend($handle, "",1114 , "{DOWN}")
          ControlClick($handle,"",1115)
          ControlClick($handle,"",1)
          WinMove($spec,"",187,48,273,53)
          ElseIf $vis=="spec" Then
          ControlSend($handle, "",1113 , "{DOWN}")
          ControlClick($handle,"",1115)
          ControlClick($handle,"",1)
          WinMove($tripex,"",187,48,273,53)
          ElseIf $vis=="none" Then ; default to spec analyzer vis if nothing is running
          ControlSend($handle, "",1113 , "{PGDN}")
          ControlSend($handle, "",1113 , "{UP}")
          ControlSend($handle, "",1114 , "{DOWN}")
          ControlClick($handle,"",1)
          EndIf

          I don't have a menu to select the vis but that is possible also. Right now i'm only switching between 2 vis and seems to work ok.

          Nevermind that last code. I wrote a MUCH better one without having to use sendkeys and open pref window which gets ugly.. all done by sendmessage to winamp.
