  • RR on Fujitsu 3400 Tablet

I tried to install RR onto a fujitsu 3400 tablet, running Windows 2000, and received an error saying some .dll files were not available.

Can RR run on Windows 2000?

If so are there some specialty drivers and dlls that I need to find? Maybe some update vb drivers or something?

I thought of putting xp on it but i will lose the touchscreen.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.
    thanks

I ran XP on a 3400 for a year or so when XP first came out Touchscreen and all worked once I figured out the sequence for loading all the drivers. Give a search on TabletPC Buzz.Com for how to get everything installed and working. Irregardless, make sure you max out the memory at 192, get the updated video driver, and learn how to tweak your operating system to eek out every ounce of performance. Also, you might want to stay away from the powered 2.0 USB Hubs - Fujitsu tablets see them as an overload condition sometimes and shuts down all USBs until reboot.

Good luck with getting RR to play nice on that tablet. I abandoned it for the 3500 and now 4121 cause there was some feature in RR I couldn't get it to do. Been so long ago I don't remember what it was. I maxed out the capabilities of the 3500 last fall with all the beautiful flash skins and hope to make the 4121 last another two years till Vista becomes stable enough for CarPC use.

OBTW, Where in Illinois are you and are you coming to Chicago this Sunday?
