  • mplayer / mplayerc cpu usage problem

as of about a week ago, my mplayer worked fine, embedded or not. now, i can open it up and it still works, but when i try to play a video, it freezes up and the cpu shoots up to 100% and the machine gets really laggy. this is whether it is embedded or not. i have the same issue on my XP computer and my vista. any suggestions?

it works on my vista box, but still not on the XP. i have tried a fresh install of RR and have uninstalled Divx, reinstalled Divx, tested at both intervals, and still the computer slows down a ton when i start playing a video. pleeeeease help

ok well since my first question seems to be doing so well, i think ill ask another. how do you (or is it possible rather) to get rid of the folder icons on the directory list. i dont want album art, and i dont want that folder icon either. it looks like a gif somewheer that i cant find. thanks (again?)

Just make Gif file with 1 pixel and name it MEDIA.GIF and replace the one in the your skin folder.
